Building Resilience and Growth after Brain Injury

You are invited to attend the fifth annual conference of the Saugatuck Institute for Neuropsychological Rehabilitation (SINR), an unparalleled training opportunity in neuropsychological rehabilitation, May 16–19, 2027, in the serene lakeside community of Saugatuck, Michigan, USA. This intimate conference offers a unique blend of cutting-edge science, practical application, and collegial interaction.

Theme for SINR 2027: Building Resilience and Growth after Brain Injury. As always, we will address cognitive, psychological, and community/social challenges after brain injury and provide evidence-based interventions via academic lectures, case presentations and hands-on workshops. And we’ll have poster sessions again.

Day 1 features special presentations, a concert, and our Welcome Dinner. Days 2, 3, and 4 each address a specific domain of neuropsychological rehabilitation focused on building resilience and growth, structured to guide you from theory to practice:

- Morning Lecture: A deep dive into research and theoretical foundations of the day’s topic.
Midday Practice Case: A case study illustrating the real-world application of relevant interventions.
Afternoon Skills Workshop: Hands-on practice with the interventions discussed, ensuring you leave with actionable skills.
Afternoon Discussion: This session will combine opportunities for attendees to join conversations relevant to the day’s theme along with guided discussion with faculty.
