SINR 2026

June 2-5, 2026
Saugatuck, Michigan

You are invited to attend the fourth annual Saugatuck Institute for Neuropsychological Rehabilitation (SINR), an unparalleled training opportunity in neuropsychological rehabilitation, taking place June 2-5, 2026, in the serene lakeside community of Saugatuck, Michigan, USA. This intimate conference offers a unique blend of cutting-edge science, practical application, and collegial interaction.

Theme for SINR 2026: Rehabilitation of Identity after Brain Injury. As always, we will address cognitive, psychological, and community/social challenges after brain injury and provide evidence-based interventions via case presentations and hands-on workshops. Each day focuses on a specific domain of neuropsychological rehabilitation of identity, structured to guide you from theory to practice:

  • Morning Lecture: A deep dive into research and theoretical foundations of the day’s topic.
  • Midday Practice Case: A case study illustrating the real-world application of relevant interventions.
  • Afternoon Skills Workshop: Hands-on practice with the interventions discussed, ensuring you leave with actionable skills.

*** New in 2026***

We are adding a curated Group and Panel Discussion facilitated by Dr. Pamela Klonoff and Dr. Christian Salas as the culmination of each of the three main days. This session will combine opportunities for attendees to join conversations relevant to the day’s theme along with guided discussion with our faculty.

For the first time, we invite you to submit a poster for SINR 2026. We welcome a limited number of posters that are related to neuropsychological rehabilitation, and we are especially interested in posters that reflect this year’s theme of Rehabilitation of Identity after Brain Injury. For details, see www.si-nr.org.
